elektroThing sells open-source hardware products and provides related documentation. All products are sold as-is for educational, hobbyist, and professional prototyping purposes.

Our products are not certified for use in safety-critical applications, medical devices, or life-support systems. Users assume all responsibility for determining suitability for their intended use.

3. Orders and Payment

All orders are processed through Stripe, a secure third-party payment processor. Prices are listed in USD and are subject to change without notice.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including product availability, errors in pricing or product information, or suspected fraud.

4. Shipping and Delivery

We ship worldwide via tracked shipping services. Delivery times vary by location:

• US/EU: 5-10 business days
• Rest of world: 10-20 business days

Customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees imposed by their country.

5. Returns and Refunds

We offer a 30-day return policy for unused products in original packaging. To initiate a return, contact us via the contact form on our website.

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days of receiving the returned product.

6. Warranty

All products include a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover damage from misuse, modification, or normal wear and tear. Defective products will be repaired or replaced at our discretion.

7. Open Source License

Hardware designs, schematics, and firmware are provided under open-source licenses as specified in each project's GitHub repository. You are free to use, modify, and distribute these materials according to the applicable license terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, elektroThing shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our products or services.
